George Gerard Flaherty

Some time after moving to Boston, George Homer Flaherty changed his name to George Gerard Flaherty.

Living at 849 E 1st St in South Boston with his adopted parents, Martin and Sarah Flaherty, he eventually met Loretta Ann Cowhig, who lived around the corner at 8 O St.

We aren’t sure when they met but they got married on September 25, 1933, at St. Brigid’s church, 845 East Broadway, South Boston, MA.
