Our Lady Of Good Help Church

As you can see, the Our Lady of Good Help Roman Catholic church was demolished in 1949 due to structural concerns.

The church was “built” in 1903 at the location shown, where Homer and Minnie were married, at 5th and Jefferson St.  Actually, this church was a rebuilt version of the same church that was built in 1870 at 3rd and Washington, dismantled and moved to 5th Ave to make room for a railroad tunnel.

This was Seattle’s oldest Catholic church.
